• Review of "Hey with Zion Nursery Class" at Lees

  I attended Hey With Zion Primary "school" from the year 1994 till 2003.
  
  I was always a very shy and quiet young girl, and I rarely answerd questions in class. The teachers regullary came to a conclusion that I mustnt be as brighter (or smarter) then the rest of the other children who regullary put there hands up in class and answerd questions.
  
  In my early years at Hey With Zion my mother taught me the full A-B-C and not the ordinary a-b-c that most 4-5 year old children were learning at the time.
  
  I remember on a certain occasion my teacher at the time wanted to speak to my mother about how I was too far ahead of the other children in the class. She specifically asked my mother to learn the a-b-c s instead.
  
  At this time as you can imagine I was a young 5 year old girl and I began to get extremely confused I had to learn the Alphabet again only in a totally different way.
  
  After a few weeks I was so confused I didnt know the alphabet at all. Once again the teachers thought because I didnt know the average a-b-c like the rest of the class that must of meant I was slow. When originally I was ahead of the class knowing all my A-B-Cs then some idiotic teacher came up with a plan to get me equal to the class.
  
  This was probually the main thing that started it off, I was that low on confidence the teachers misinterpreted that I was dyslestic. They never gave the thought that maybe I was just that bit shy.
  
  I found also with one cerain teacher (I think she was called Miss Book) she would give the most attention to the misbehaving ones. I can remember very well she never was very nice with me and regulary shouted at me for no apparent reason.
  
  I can count the amout of times I went home crying about the things she did. I remember on certain occasions she would stand the whole class up and ask each child a maths question if they got it right they could sit down.
  
  As always I was the last one standing and I can vaguely remember her always shouting at me for the fact that I could not get the answer right. (Awful woman)
  
  In conclusion the teachers all thought I was slow and dyslectic and I would never get anywere in life.
  
  Well well well...... Recently I have just finished my media Publishing cource which I did at the Oldham college and achieved a Distinction Merit Merit. And I am also getting ready to go to university in September to study Film studies and Journalism.
  
  If youre child is even that little bit shy dont send them here it will absolutley ruin there lives! The teachers just do not care.

  absolutely disgusting place!! One of those chippys that have battered food sat there, going all hard inside with soggy batter. So, when i go in i ask for new fish etc to be fried and I am willing to wait. Just got home after waiting for 2 spam fritters (there was a burnt soggy one there but i wanted fresh ones, same with my fish)... she put the old spam fritter in and i questioned her and she swore she hadnt....... i got home and she had.......... and this is the 3rd time they have done this, hoodwinking customers, ya, fabulous policy that.......... AVOID THIS ROTTEN CHIPPY LIKE THE PLAGUE, ITS AWFUL.... Martyn, Lees
